日期的表达
英语中日期有两种写法:一种是按月、日、年的顺序排列，另一种是按日、月、年的顺序排列。年份要放在最后，其前用逗号与月、日隔开。
以2017年11月21日为例:
(1)把月份写在日期前面，这通常是美式写法，即：
November 21st, 2017,读作November the twenty-first, two thousand and seventeen
(2)先写日子，再写月份和年，这通常是英式写法，即：
21st November, 2017,读作the twenty-first of November, two thousand and seventeen
询问他人生日
When is your birthday
这是一个由when引导的特殊疑问句。此句用来询问“生日是什么时候”。
回答可用：
My birthday is in+月份.
My birthday is on+几月几号.（具体日期）
【拓展】　表示“某人的生日”有两种形式:“形容词性物主代词+birthday ”或 “名词所有格+birthday”。

【记忆口诀】
基变序，有规律，多数词尾加-th。
一、二、三特殊记，词尾字母t, d, d。
八去t,，九去e, 字母f把ve替，然后再加-th。
遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。
序数词表顺序，一般须加定冠词。

(2)以-ty结尾的基数词，要先变y为ie， 再加 ____。例如：thirty—thirtieth
(3)有些基数词变为序数词时，有其特殊的地方。例如：one—first; two—second; three—third; five—fifth; eight—eighth; nine—ninth; twelve—twelfth
