Do you want to buy things new or second hand These days, buying second hand things is becoming popular.
Many people have something they don't need. In these years, people can make more money and buy far more than they need, according to a speech by Wei Ying, founder(创始人) of an online second hand book trading site(交易平台). At the same time, more people are becoming interested in minimalism(极简主义).
Second hand things are much cheaper than new ones, so people can save money. It's also good for the environment. It's a better choice to reuse old things, not making new things.

Stephen Hawking is famous and successful, but he is also disabled.
Stephen Hawking was born in 1942 in Oxford, England.He went to the University of Oxford and received a degree in physics. He also went to the University of Cambridge to study. During this time doctors discovered that he had ALS, which is sometimes called Lou Gehrig's disease(卢伽雷病). This illness makes all of the body's muscles(肌肉) weak. The doctors thought Hawking would live only two and a half more years. Although Hawking had become more seriously paralyzed(瘫痪的), he became a professor at Cambridge. Luckily, the work of a scientist only needs one thing: the mind.
Hawking does research about how the universe began. His research has influenced many other scientists. Some of his ideas are so advanced(先进的) that other scientists cannot prove(证明) them yet.
As his illness got worse, Stephen Hawking wrote A Brief History of Time. The book sold over 8 million copies around the world, and Hawking became world famous. He even appeared on television shows.
Hawking's strong spirit has helped him to live with ALS for 30 years. He is thought to be one of the greatest scientists in the world. He teaches us that even though a person is physically disabled, the mind is powerful enough to help him succeed.
