Pre-reading 1. T shares a poem with Ss and ask the following question: What do you get from the poem 2. T invites Ss to think and share the following questions: what are some important choices in your life How can we make better choices without regret 3. Homework T presents two options and gives instructions. Option 1: Write a passage about one of your important choices you have ever made and explain your principles behind it. Option 2: Search the information about a person you respect and write a brief biography for him/her. Ss get to know the homework and requirements. 拓展话题内容,以巩固本节课所学,着重训练学生的语言运用能力和写作技能,打开学生思维,增加学生的语言输入,增强学习语言、运用语言的信心。启发学生反思自我,思考如何面对人生抉择,认真选择未来的道路,全力以赴地面对人生的挑战
Mother of Ten Thousand Babies 课后反思 本节课在以下几个方面有可取之处: 1.通过对文本的深入挖掘,透过文章内容看清主人公在面临人生选择的时候表现出来的优良品质,把德育物细无声的融入到了课堂教学中,引导学生积极思考,树立正确的人生观和价值观。 2.教学目标设计合理,符合本节课在本单元的定位以及本单元在整套教材中的定位。围绕教学目标设计教学活动,教学活动实施直指教学目标。 3.深度学习特征明显。挑战性学习任务具有实践性、综合性和开放性,需要学生思考、研讨、质疑、探究、概括、分析和解释,且答案不唯一。 4.在教学过程,与学生积极互动,比较关注学生的情感,创设民主、和谐的教学气氛。建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道,互相鼓励和帮助,做到教学相长。 5.本节课是基于主题意义探究的单元整体教学中的一部分。这节课以单元主题意义为引领,以语篇内容为依托,将学习理解、应用实践和迁移创新等英语学习活动贯穿整个课堂教学。在整节课的活动设计中,我们注重对学生核心素养的培养,注重培养学生的自主学习能力。 由于时间原因,本节课还有很多不完美之处: 1.部分活动没有足够的时间让更多的学生发表自己的看法,课堂管理还可以更放手更自由; 2.在主题意义探究的过程中,因时间和语言能力的关系学生认识的深度还不够,在拓宽学生思维深度和广度,培养学生批判性思维等方面还需继续努力; 3.课堂教学策略可以更多元更丰富。
