Step 2Presentation(1a) 教师问学生今天天气情况T:How is the weather today Ss: It is cool !...引导学生学习表达天气的词及短语。Do1a,check answers:1a2b4c5d 学习表达天气的词及短语。
Step 3Listening (1b) T: Now let’s listen to the tape, please write these city names in the boxes above. (播放1b部分的录音让学生听, 引导学生根据所听到的内容, 完成1b部分的教学任务。)Check the answers: (a. Toronto b. Boston c. Beijing d, Moscow e. Shanghai) Listen to the tape in 1b and finish the answers.
Step 4Pair work (1c) Ask the Ss to practice the conversations in 1a with a partner. Then make their own conversations. (引导学生展开Pair work活动, 完成1c部分口语交际的教学任务, 学会询问天气。) 1. Ss practice the conversation in 1a on the big screen. 2.Make conversations using the information in 1a. 3. Act out their conversations in pairs.
Step 5Listening (2a~2b) 1. Work on 2a; T: Now, look at the pictures on P38, listen to the tape, and find the right conversation and number them1_4 . (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. )Then, listen to the recording again, and number them you hear. Answers: 2341(from left to right) 2. Work on 2b; 引导学生根据所听内容用,用正确的字母代号填空, 完成2b部分的教学任务。Check the answers with the Ss. Answers:1c2a3d4b 1. Step 6Pair work (2b) 1. Look at 2a and talk about what the people are doing . 老师可以和一名优秀的学生做一个对话的例子, 让学生们明白如何去问答, 例如: T: What am I doing S1: You are standing .T:What are you doing S2: I am listening .T:Yes ,you right.Ask some pairs to act out their conversations. 1. Ss work in pairs to practice asking and answer about Uncle, Jeff ,Mary and Aunt Sally. 2. Ss act out their conversations.
Step 7Role-play(2d) 1. Ask Ss to look at the picture in 2d. Then Ss read the dialogue by themselves ,when they have some questions, they can read the Notes on the Text on page 80(1,2,3,4,) to help them . 2. Explain something that Ss can’t understand. 3. Let Ss read after the teacher or play the recording and let Ss read after the recording. 4. Ask some pairs come to the front of the classroom. 1. Ss read the conversation by themselves and try to learn them by themselves. 2. Ss read after the teacher or play the recording. 3. Ss work in pairs to act out the conversation.
