②全体学生能运用词汇：happily, many以及2-4个数字。
③全体学生能运用There are forty.这类语句来谈论数量。

①全体学生能听懂、会说：There are forty.
②全体学生能认读：happily, many以及2-4个自选目标数字。
③全体学生能按要求完成语句书写。
3.情感目标：在学习和日常交际中，进一步注意到中外文化异同；敢于开口，表达中不怕出错误。

七、教学过程:
Step1 warm-up and lead-in
1.师生互致问候。
2.师生齐唱歌曲 “Ten little Indian boys.”（ 激情导入,复习数字one～ten）
3.复习数字 thirteen～eighteen ，并初步感知“How many… ”句型
T: How many boys can you see (出图) Ss:….
T: How many crayons can you see (出图) Ss:….
(同理复习数字thirteen～eighteen)
4.揭示主题：T:Now,the numbers’ family are having a party. Let’s have a look who is in the party. Please,turn to P29.We are going to learn Module5 Unit2 There are forty.(学习单词：number)
5.小组比赛：T：Do you want to take part in the numbers’ party Let’s do a competition and have a look who are the winners.(blue group and red group)

(一)词汇教学
1.第一次观看①Listen and chant动画视频，回答问题“Who is in the party ”
2.看完视频后学习：thirty～ninety
①学习thirty
T:Who is in the party Ss: ….
(引出thirty 全班读、小组读、开火车抽读；按音节读、升降调读)
②复习three , thirteen 和 thirty
T:What’s this ( 幻灯片出示three)
T:And what’s this （出示thirteen）
③学习forty～ninety
T:Who is also in the party Ss:….（幻灯片出示：forty～ninety,全班读、小组读、个人读等多种形式学习目标数字单词，重点突破thirty, forty和sixty的发音）
④复习单词thirty～ninety ,比较记忆thirteen～eighteen: Do a game “sharp eyes”
⑤找thirteen～eighteen，thirty～ninety单词规律。
3.第二次看①Listen and chant动画视频，先跟读再说唱。（一句句跟，注意语音语调，读准字音）
①跟读、跟唱： T:Let’s take part in the party too.
②学单词：happily
（二）课文教学
1. 第一次观看②Listen and read动画视频，回答问题“How many pupils are there in Ling ling’s class ”学习目标句子：There are forty.
T：Do you like the party The numbers are very naughty. Some of them run away. Let’s find them. Please watch the video of the text. And then tell me “How many pupils are there in Ling ling’s class ”
(学习：many)
Ss: There are ….(多种形式读目标句)
2.渗透中西方学生班别人数文化差异，引导学生正确看待中西方文化差异。
3. 第二次观看②Listen and read动画视频，跟读课文，注意读准单词读音，并且注意语音语调。
4.全班齐读课文，分角色读课文。

①Do Exercise ③ Read and say. on P30 (师先示范用“there are”句型口头造句，生四人为一组造句，抽小组汇报。)
②To learn ⑤Listen and say. Then chant on P30
Step4.Homework.
