We set off from our school at eight o’clock on that morning by school bus and it took about two hours to reach the school in the mountainous area located in the west of our city. When we got there, first, we handed out the school things we had prepared to the kids./ Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcome/greeted by those children and we handed out some daily essentials and books to them. Then we gave them fantastic performances and played games merrily with them, which rid them of loneliness and made all of us very happy. After lunch, we waved tearful good-bye to those lovely children and headed back to our school. Awfully tired as we were,/ Exhausted as we were, we were brimming over with joy and happiness.
From this illuminating activity, I think joint efforts should be made by the government, the organization and the community to help those kids. Every contribution can make a huge difference./ Everyone involved thinks highly of the rewarding activity, expecting that more meaningful like this could be launched in the future.
