教材分析
本单元的话题是Unforgettable events(难忘的事件),通过学习本节课学生能够运用过去进行时和一般过去时talk about past events (谈论过去发生的事件)。Section A 1a-1c以图文、音频听力对话的形式介绍了记者播报暴风雨来临时,不同场景的四个人正在进行的活动;2a-2c以音频、图文、听力对话介绍了一个男孩讲述他一天中发生的一系列糟糕的事情。
学情分析
本课时为听说课,但是整个单元的内容对于学生来说都是新的语法点——过去进行时。学生在七年级下册就学过现在进行时,并掌握如何使用现在进行时来描述日常活动,而且掌握了一些有关日常活动的短语,这有利于他们学习过去进行时。
课时教学目标
语言能力:能掌握本课时出现的新词汇; 通过情境体验,能够理解过去进行时态的用法,并用过去进行时以及一般过去时来描述过去的事情。 学习能力:通过观察图片和联系个人经验,能够对听力进行预测,提高听力理解能力以及策略运用能力; 思维品质: 能够在听说活动中准确获取并表达有关过去时间和正在做的事情之信息,提高思维的逻辑性、批判性和创新性; 文化意识:能够在面对突然来临的自然灾害时,增强自我保护意识和应对能力;
