教学目标
1.语言技能:
(1)能够在语境中正确理解小部分生词的含义,能够根据图片内容理解文字信息。
(2)能够按照正确的语音、语调和语气朗读文本。
(3)能够在教师的引导下,根据课文图片,对文本内容进行预测。
(4)能够理解文本,回答课文中的三个问题。
(5)能够根据文本内容,复述故事内容,在横线上填写合适的词语。
2.语言知识:
(1)能够知道有关“路线与方向”的英语书面形式。
3.情感态度、学习策略与文化意识:
(1)在学习的过程中,能够做到乐于感知并积极尝试使用英语。
(2)在课堂交流中,遇到问题主动向老师或同学请教。
(3)能够在学习的过程中,初步了解中外文化的异同之处。
教学重点
1.词汇与短语:compass, GPS, stars, gave, feature, works.
2.能够按照正确的语音、语调和语气朗读文本。
3.能够根据要求,针对课文完成读后的阅读理解检测及书写任务。
教学难点
1.该文本内容较多,读后的检测活动也较多,要合理安排好时间,确保课程的顺利进行。
教学用具
1.教师准备与本课时相关的课件与音视频。
教学过程
Step 1:warm-up
1.Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。
2.Let’s sing.教师出示课件,学生听音频,学唱歌谣。
Where is the hospital?
Is it near the park?
Where is the cinema?
Is it near the mall?
Come to the bookstore.
It’s next to the light.
Come with me! Come with me!
Come with me tonight!
Step 2:Pre-reading
1.Good to know.教师出示课件,引导学生认识四件指明方向的物品:map, compass, GPS, stars.首先,让学生说说这四种东西的作用,再思考问题:哪一种东西可以放在汽车里帮助我们找到一个地方?继而引出GPS,告诉学生这是Robin的新特性,这个特性是吴一凡的爷爷赋予Robin的,解决词汇:gave, feature。
2.Look and discuss.看图片,师生进行讨论,预测课文内容。
Picture 1:Where are they? They are in front of the cinema.
Picture 2:Where are they? They are behind the hospital.
Picture 3:Where are they? They are in front of the hospital.
Picture 4:Where are they? They are in front of the restaurant.
Step 3:While-reading
1.The first reading.学生进行第一次自主阅读,这一次要求学生进行快速阅读,在课文中划出Wu Yifan, Mike和Robin经过的地点。

2.The second reading.学生进行第二次自主阅读,这一次要求学生进行细读,并完成课本P9的填充题。

3.Listen and repeat.教师将课件放小,打开P8的音频,学生看课文,听音频,模仿音频的语音语调跟读句子。
Step 4:Practice
1.Read and draw.学生分小组合作,再次阅读课文,划出吴一凡、迈克与罗宾三人去餐馆的路线图。
