教学目标
1．语言技能：
（1）能够在语境中正确理解小部分生词的含义,能够根据图片内容理解文字信息。

1．该文本内容较多，读后的检测活动也较多，要合理安排好时间，确保课程的顺利进行。

教学过程
Step 1：warm-up
1．Greeting.师生用英语互相问候。
2．Let’s sing.教师出示课件，学生听音频，学唱歌谣。

Step 2：Pre-reading
1．Good to know.教师出示课件，引导学生认识四件指明方向的物品：map, compass, GPS, stars.首先，让学生说说这四种东西的作用，再思考问题：哪一种东西可以放在汽车里帮助我们找到一个地方？继而引出GPS，告诉学生这是Robin的新特性，这个特性是吴一凡的爷爷赋予Robin的，解决词汇：gave, feature。
2．Look and discuss.看图片，师生进行讨论，预测课文内容。

Picture 3：Where are they? They are in front of the hospital.
Picture 4：Where are they? They are in front of the restaurant.
Step 3：While-reading
1．The first reading.学生进行第一次自主阅读，这一次要求学生进行快速阅读，在课文中划出Wu Yifan, Mike和Robin经过的地点。

2．The second reading.学生进行第二次自主阅读，这一次要求学生进行细读，并完成课本P9的填充题。
