After one and a half hours, we arrived at Tian’anmen Square. We came to the Tian’anmen Rostrum first. There was a large picture of Chairman Mao on it.

It was a fine day. Darren,Kangkang and I got up early in the morning. After we checked our bikes and bags, we rode to Tian’anmen Square.
After one and a half hours, we arrived at Tian’anmen Square. We came to the Tian’anmen Rostrum first. There was a large picture of Chairman Mao on it. “ Chairman Mao once announced the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the first national flag was raised here,” Kangkang told us.
After we visited Tian’anmen Rostrum, we came to the Monument to the People’s Heroes. It’s in the center of the square. There were
many people there. We took a lot of photos.

It was a good day. My friends and I wade a decision to go to the mountains to go camp-ing. We felt so excited that we all got up very
early in the morning.
After we checked all the things well, we went there on our bikes. We had a rest at the foot of the mountain. After parking our bikes,it took us two hours to get to the top of the mountain. We enjoyed camping there.
Suddenly, I saw a goat and I ran after it. Finally,I didn’t catch it but got lost. I felt very worried.Luckily, I found a farmer and asked him for help.
He helped me get back in the end. we should ask someone around us for help when we are lost.

while
“当......时候,和.......同时”,从句用延续性动词,强调主句和从句的动作同时进行,常用进行时态。
when
“当......时候”,从句可用延续性动词(与while一样),也可用短暂性动词(相当于at that time“正在那时”),与主句动作有先后之分。
在时间状语从句中,要注意时态一致。一般情况下,主句是一般将来时,从句用一般现在时(即“主将从现”或“主祈/情从现”);主句是过去时态,从句也要用相应的过去时态(即“主过从过”)。
