语篇分析 What: 本课时是A部分的单词和对话融合课，围绕着子任务：描述动物的整体外貌而展开，通过Miss White带着张鹏和Amy去动物园参加春游的场景，观察长颈鹿、熊及猴子，并描述了它们的特征，让学生感知本课时核心句型和单词的语用和语义情景。。Why: 教材情景中对话交流主要学习描述动物特征信息，通过简单的高矮胖瘦来整体描述动物的特征。引导学生学会描述动物的整体特征，并了解动物的有趣性，同时也让学生学会爱护动物。How: 本节课是一节融合课，教材通过Chen Jie和张鹏跟着Miss White游览动物园的对话展开对本节课的词汇和句型学习，学习句型：Look at that..It’s(so)...描述动物整体特征，并在对话过程中学习词汇fat, thin, tall, short为后面的语言语用搭建基础。
教学目标教学重点、难点 1.理解对话大意，掌握重点句型Look at that..It’s(so)...词汇：fat, thin, tall, short描述动物的整体特征，并能正确朗读单词和对话；（学习理解）2.在教师的帮助下分角色表演对话（程度较好的学生可以尝试重构句型），并用正确的语音语调朗读跟读单词句型。（应用实践）3.通过拓展完成TPR活动，并通过画一画自己喜欢的动物，认识到动物的有趣性。（迁移创新）

设计意图：本阶段学习活动旨在帮学生在语境中理解学习内容，学习核心词汇和核心语言。学生在教师的指导下看图预测对话内容，在跟读模仿中模仿正确的语音语调，内化语言，为语言输出奠定基础。
