教学重点: 1. 复习国内外节日的庆祝方式,通过思维导图可视化呈现单元内容。
2. 学习食谱的框架和内容。
教学难点: 1. 用合理的框架和内容制作关于一道节日食谱的海报。 2. 用恰当的语言展示所制作的食谱海报。
教学过程
Activity 1: Think and Review A Mind-map of the celebration of festivals Q1: What festivals and celebrations do we learn in the unit Q2: How do people celebrate these happy occasions The significance of festival food and food recipes Q3: What’s the significance of festival food in the celebration of festivals Q4: What function do food recipes have on passing on the food culture Activity 2: Observe and Learn Observe an example of food recipes Q5: How can we make a food recipe Q6: What is it about What is a food recipe made up of (the dish, a brief introduction, the ingredients, the steps, an illustration ) Project: Make a food recipe of Spring Rolls in China The dish: Spring Rolls --- a Popular Chinese New Year Food A brief introduction: Eating spring rolls is a way to welcome the arrival of spring. The golden spring rolls look like gold bars — which symbolize wealth. Ingredients: 250g flour powder, two eggs, two mushrooms, 100g carrot, 300g celery, 80g bean curd skin, green onion, five cloves of garlic, gingerSeasonings: sesame oil, cooking oil, pepper powder, salt Steps: Making the Wrappers: Take out the prepared dough Roll the dough flat with a rolling pin Fold the dough sheet and cut it into (10cm×10cm) squares Stir-frying the Filling: Pour the filling into the wok. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes to ensure all cooking oil is absorbed. Add salt and pepper , and toss to mix the seasonings with all ingredients.Making Spring Rolls: Put some filling in the wrapper. Fold the edges, and roll the wrapper with the fillings inside. Place several drops of egg on the last edge to seal it. Frying Spring Rolls: Add 400-500ml cooking oil into a clean wok and heat it until hot. Add the Spring Rolls and fry 2 minutes until they turn golden. Remove them to a plate. Don't eat any until they cool down.
