教学目标
1. Students have the ability to search and collect information independently. 2. Students are able to work as a team to make a presentation. 3. Students learn the basic factors of a poster. 4. Students learn the recipes of some festival food and make posters by themselves. 5. Students can make festival food at home and film the process, which is a part of labor education.
教学内容
教学重点: 1. How to support students to make a presentation on festival introduction
2. Show an example of a poster and teach how to make a poster according to the example. 3.Give some words and expressions to support students timely when they make a draft of the poster.
教学难点: 1. In the group discussion, each member should sort out and summarize the information to form short paragraphs, and then the group members discuss together, modify and integrate the content of each part, and unify the language style and style. This puts forward high requirements for students' cooperative spirit and writing ability.
2. Students are not familiar with the production of festival food and the expression of the specific ingredients and detailed steps.
教学过程
Before the class, teacher(T)shows the learning objectives for this class. Thus, students(Ss) will know the goals they need to achieve. 一. Pre-project: 1.Warm up: T show four pictures to help Ss have a review of previous Chinese festival, preparing for the next output phase. 2.Gussing game: Ss guess the name of a traditional Chinese festival by T’s description, ready to learn the new poster.(the form of guessing game help arouse Ss’ interest and attention) 二. While-project: 3.Watch the video: Ss know more information about the Zhuang People’s folk festival through video. After the video, T check the details. 4.According to the poster of the Zhuang People’s folk festival, T conclude the outline of an introduction to a festival. 5. T provide some support such as sentence patterns that may be used and a specific sample to help Ss prepare the presentation. 6. Ss are given 8 minutes to prepare the presentation. 7.Show time: T invites Ss to have presentations in class 8.Lead to project 2: conclude the common point that these four festivals all have their special food. show a picture of ingredients to lead Ss to new topic: Laba poster. 9. help Ss to distinguish the structure of a poster: title, pictures, brief introductions of the festival, ingredients and steps. 10. Let ss choose one festival food and draw a draft of their poster. 11. provide some words and phrases ss may use while preparing. (Some ingredients are strange for ss who are not good at cooking. Thus, T need to provide some support to assist.) 12. Homework: A. Make a poster about festival food recipes. B. Make festival food at home according to your recipe and film the process.
