Night-Shining White(照夜白图) is a portrait, and the name of a favourite horse of Emperor Xuanzong (712-756). The painting is 34 cm wide by 30.8 cm high, housed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. The fiery(如火般的)-tempered steed(坐骑), with its burning eye, flaring(张开的) nostrils(鼻孔), and dancing hooves, were really dragons in disguise.
