Integrated skills 第二课时教案
教材分析:
本课时承接Integrated skills第一课时内容,主要通过引导学生思考网络使用的情况,从而参考上一课时活动中的图表信息,进行口语练习及报告写作。重点表达与句式主要涉及发展表述,图表信息描述等。学生通过本课时学习,能够了解图表报告写作的方法,习得不同类型图表的重点及报告的结构。
教学策略与设计说明:
采用任务型教学法(Task-based language teaching),布置活动任务,设置活动目的,引导学生完成相关任务,达成各教学步骤设计目的。
教学目标:
在本课学习结束时,学生能够:
语言能力上,习得涉及网络话题词汇、图表描述的句式。能够在口语写作中,客观准确描述数据内容。
思维品质上,熟悉报告主要结构,结构清晰、逻辑有序的独立完成写作任务;懂得如何从客观数据中得出结论并合理预测未来发展。
文化品格上,从世界角度出发,理解网络对全球发展的影响。
学习能力上,懂得图表阐述信息的优点,掌握从图标中获取重点数据的方法。
教学重点:
学生能运用整合所学内容独立进行写作。

学生能逻辑有序、结构清晰的组织写作内容,并独立完成写作任务。

Step 1 Review: T leads Ss to review what they’ve learn from last lesson about how to read charts. T makes Ss understand the key info in each chart for preparing following writing task. While analysing, T can lead Ss review the different features. 复习上节课内容,强调和总结图表特点,提高学生读图技巧等学习能力。 5’ CW
Step 2 Speaking: T can combine the contents from charts. T provides sentence patterns and sample sentences for different types of charts. Then, T plays a short video about the development of Internet in 20 years for leading in two question. How has the Internet developed over the years How has Internet use changed in the past five years After the discussion, T plays second short video about 5G and leads Ss think about our present Internet life then predict the future life. If possible, T can combine the charts’ index or data to arouse Ss’ interests or thinking. Alternatively, while talking, the teacher can show the sample dialogue to help students know how to express their ideas logically and reasonably. 提供要点以及表达句式,使学生交流互动更有方向性与针对性。由输入转为输出,口语训练既能拓宽学生的思路,又能夯实教学内容,提高语言能力。 15’ CW/GW
Step 3 Writing-planning Students learn how to plan their writing from three aspects: the text type; the structure and the language. 1. definition T highlights some key words and explain each words meanings. 2. structure T needs to analyse the three main points and divides them into introduction, body and conclusion. 3. learning language (focus on charts) First, Ss need to know why report needs to be simple and plain (everyone can understand it). Then, T shows opening sentence patterns, vocabulary (v. n. adj. adv.), and sentence patterns for charts analysing. Then T can show two paragraphs as example to show how to use these sentence patterns. 通过指导学生使用本课所学知识,强调需要注意写作的体裁、结构和语言。 15’ CW
Step 4 Writing: If possible, T gives Ss 15 to 20 mins for finishing writing, and then shows a sample writing. T needs to analyse the structure, sentence using and vocabulary. 课上完成作文,通过分析参考作文,复习本节课已学句型和语篇结构。 13’ CW
Step 5 Checking and polishing After showing a sample wiring, T divided Ss into several groups for peer evaluation by aspects they’ve just learnt. Ss should highlight the key sentences and expression for improving language skills. 让学生评价自己的作文,引导其对自身习作进行批判性审视,对写作过程中发现的问题进行探究和调控,解决问题,学会学习。分析范文巩固新知。 10’ GW
Step 6 Homework: Polish your report and prepare a presentation. Find out other charts online about Internet, write a report 同主题同文体写作,巩固新知 1’
