教材内容分析:
本单元选自人教版八年级上册unit8属于“人与自我”范畴的“劳动实践,劳动品质与工匠精神”以及“勤于动手,乐于实践,敢于创新”,主要围绕“食物制作”这一话题展开。
为了能培养学生核心素养本单元整合分为四个课时,本课时是本单元的第二课时听说课,主题为三明治的制作,教学内容包括SectionB1a-1e&grammar3c。第一课时是一节听说课,听力材料是围绕如何制作香蕉奶昔和水果沙拉及食物的名称、调味品的名称、容器或者器材的名词以及表示制作顺序的副词等,第三课时是一节阅读课围绕谈论北美洲感恩节以及感恩节大餐的传统食物——火鸡的制作,让学生通过学习了解外国特定节日的传统食物,引起学生深入了解中国传统节日以及传统的食物制作,这个活动也能加深学生对传统节日的了解,为第四课时的写作提供了丰富的话题和信息储备。
教学目标:
1. 语言能力目标:
(1)能够了解并描述制作三明治的过程。
(2)运用以下词汇及用语:Do you like lettuce in a sandwich Yes, I do.
Do you like tomatoes No, I don’t.

2.思维品质目标:通过本课的学习了解国外常见食物—三明治的制作。培养学生通过网络、图书馆等检索知识的能力,并通过实践三明治的制作步骤,理解应用做事情的流程方法。
3. 文化意识目标:通过本课学习,能了解西方饮食文化的差异及基本的用餐礼仪。
4. 学习能力目标:培养学生在听力中应用听力策略理解课文并完成练习的学习能力。 培养学生劳动的科学态度、规范意识、效率观念和创新精神。

2. Lead in (2’)
1) Have Ss look at the picture of a sandwich, ask them what it is, and if they like to eat.
2) Ask Ss if they know how to make a sandwich and what we need to make.
3) Have Ss look at the picture of Section B 1a. To activate students’ background knowledge and lead them to the topic of this class.

Pre-listening
1. Picture reading学习理解活动1(感知注意)(3’)
1) Have Ss read the picture in 1a and work in groups to discuss: What do we need to make a sandwich
2) Have Ss answer the question group by group. Ss are supposed to say all the words in 1a: butter, bread, onion, turkey, tomato, and lettuce.
2. Matching activity (2’)学习理解活动 (记忆检索)
T shows the words and pictures, Ss draw lines to match them on the worksheet.
(Ss can learn these words by practicing.)
2.Complete part 1a & 1b.( 5’)
1) Ss complete 1a, write down what they like in a sandwich.
2) Check the answer, focus on countable and uncountable nouns. Like: butter, tomatoes…
3) Ss practice with partners. Ask and answer as part 1b. To make students ready to listen and understand keywords and expressions.

1) Part 1c
Have Ss look at the picture in 1a, focus on the words. Then listen to the audio of 1c. (selective listening)
T asks Ss to pay attention to the words and circle them.
2) Part 1d
Have Ss check the chart on the worksheet. and focus on the information they need, and listen to the audio with purpose.
Then, show the answer, Ss check with partners. To improve Ss’ listening strategies: they are supposed to have the ability to define the key information that they are going to listen to, find out the key information and take notes quickly.. .
Post-listening

1) Have Ss learn the process of making a sandwich on slides.
2) T tells the rules when making the sandwich.
