Know the process of changing unhealthy lifestyles of the two readers. 3. Write a letter to the editor on describing a lifestyle they would like to change.

教学过程
Activity1 Free Talk Students are asked to have a free talk on the topic of habit, focusing on the following questions: Do you have any bad habits that you want to break If you do, what have you done or what will you do to get rid of them Activity2 Prediction Q1. Can you guess why they attended the camp Q2. What would they write in the letter Activity3 Reading for structure Q. What is the main idea of the two passages (These are two letters from Wang Lu and George to the editor to inform the editor of their problems, decisions, actions and results.) Activity4 Reading for details Read the letters and then complete the chart on page 21. Activity5 Reading for language Read the letters to find out some useful languages. (I realized, Most worrying, I made up my mind to, The results have been fantastic....) Activity6 Writing The magazine Healthy Life is organising this year’s summer camp. They invite interested students to write to the editor about how they plan to change their bad habits. Please write a letter to the editor about one aspect of your own lifestyle that you would like to change. Step1 Brainstorm with your partner. 1. What lifestyle habit you would like to change 2. Why you want to change 3. How you plan to change 4. What result you hope to see Step2 Write and exchange drafts with your partner. Use the following checklist to give feedback on your partner’s draft. Does the letter say what the writer's problem is Does the letter explain the decisions the writer made to solve the problem Does the letter show the ways to change Are the results included in the letter Can you see the writer's attitude and determination in the letter Is the letter clear and complete Step3 Share your letter. Homework 1. Polish your draft. 2. Explore the habit problems of your peers.
