语篇分析 What: 本课时是大任务驱动下的第二节课,围绕课时任务“The world weather”展开。语篇通过John的爸爸要去世界各地出差,John的妈妈正在和他一起收拾行李和收听世界天气预报,学生通过听听力完成表格,学习核心单词的词性和词义,然后再通过陈洁和在纽约朋友Mike的电话,了解纽约现在下雨,北京的天气也不冷,学生通过理解语篇对话,感受核心句型的语用和语义,了解摄氏度和华氏度的区别。Why: 通过语篇阅读学习感知重点词组的语义和语用情景,通过听对话、解决问题,感知句型的实际运用情景,让学生能了解气温描述中的文化差异,关心日常天气变化,能对气候特点和天气情况进行描述并能及时提醒家人、朋友根据天气变化更换衣服。How: 本节课的是一节对话和单词融合课,学生通过完成听力练习,学习关于天气特征的单词的音形义:rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny,然后再回顾对话学习,在语篇中再次感知单词的语用和语义,询问或描述某地天气情况:What’s the weather like in... It’s rainy/... Is it cold/... Yes, it is./No, it isn’t. 学生通过模仿天气预报员描述世界各地的天气情况,了解世界不同的气候,了解中西方对气温描述时的差异。
教学目标教学重点、难点 理解视频内容,完成表格填空,学习单词:rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy的音、形、义,并能询问介绍某地的天气情况,感知核心句型的语义和语用:What’s the weather like in... It’s rainy/... Is it cold/... Yes, it is./No, it isn’t;(学习理解)理解对话内容,能用正确的语音、语调意群朗读对话,了解中西方对气温描述中的差异,即中国以摄氏度为单元,西方以华氏度为单位;(学习理解)完成语篇填和连线匹配练习,巩固核心语言的运用;(应用实践)基于语言框架,写一写各地的天气情况,并模仿天气预报员进行播报,提升语言的综合表达水平。(迁移创新)

设计意图:本阶段学习活动旨在帮学生在语境中理解学习内容,学习核心词汇和核心语言。学生在教师的指导下看图预测对话内容,在跟读模仿中模仿正确的语音语调,内化语言,为语言输出奠定基础。
