教材分析
本课时是人教版初中教材八年级下册第二单元 SectionB1a-1e 部分。本单元的核心话题是“volunteer”, 围绕主动提供帮助。本课时以观察图片,听力练习等训练方式和独立学习、合作交流等形式完成语言目标的输入,学习 fix up, give away, take after, run out of...等重点短语及尝试运用已知的英语语言来解释新短语,并能用新短语造句。完成运用听力策略来捕捉关键信息,完成听力任务。并且通过设置不同层次的教学任务来让学生正确运用英语表达自己的意见和建议。通过本单元的学习,让学生学习到向别人提供帮助,争做一名志愿者。
教学目标:
1、学会本课的单词及短语。
2、学习本课中听力材料中 Jimmy 如何处理在志愿者活动中遇到的麻烦。
3、学习并尝试帮助他人,体会助人为乐。
二教学重难点
教学重点:
1 复习巩固 Section A 部分所学的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。
2 能正确运用本课时所有动词短语,尝试运用已知的英语语言来解释新短语,并能用新短语造句
教学难点:运用听力策略来捕捉关键信息,完成听力任务。
三(Teaching Procedures):
Step1:Greetings and talking
1.教师向学生表示友好的问候,并复习之前所学到的单词短语。
2.采用多种自由交际方式,创设浓厚的英语学习氛围与学生进行对话;

课后反思
本节课的成功之处:这节课主要通过学习一些词汇短语来训练学生的听力水平。上完本节课我总结如下:本节课的亮点一是听力之前的预测做的特别充分,学生通过观测课本四幅图片并且猜测图片大概表达的内容,在这一部分学生的发言非常积极。所以接下来的两遍听力练习及听力任务的完成非常成功,并且听后能完成短文填空。二是学生的参与性强,学习氛围浓厚,在小组活动中活跃了学生的思维,也进一步了解了学生在本次话题方面所拥有的原始信息量。三是学生熟练掌握了本节课的重点单词,短语以及句型。
不足之处:
大部分学生在这些环节都做得很好,但我也忽略了一些基础相对较差的同学,所以这些学生没有真正完成该部分的学习任务。在以后的教学中我要及时关注到这些孩子,根据不同学生的学习基础制定不同的任务达成,真正做到让所有孩子学有所获。
