【真题例证】(2023全国甲卷)Many years ago, I bought a house in the Garfagnana, where we still go every summer.

50.A. tried B. sold C. returned D. mixed

On Oct. 11, hundreds of runners competed in a cross-country race in Minnesota ...
As reported by a local newspaper, Bailey was more than two-thirds of the way through her ___44___ when a runner in front of her began crying in pain.
44. A. race B. school C. town D. training
【解析】根据上文中hundreds of runners competed in a cross-country race in Minnesota可知,Bailey已经跑了比赛全程的三分之二以上。
We brought young children aged 2—4 into our Minds in Development Lab at USC. Each ___47___ sat down with an adult who covered her own eyes or ears.

The flight was ___41___, and Tiffy was a great passenger. The next day, she flew with Karen and made it back to George in Virginia within a few days.
