教学目标 1.学生能准确朗读文本对话,特别是如fire station\fire engine\Fire is dangerous.\Don’t play with fire.等主要词句。2. 学生能体会语篇中图片与文字的关系,利用标题、图片与信息辅助语篇理解。3.学生能在听、读、看的过程中,有目的地提取和梳理所需信息。4.学生能大声跟读音视频材料,正确朗读所学的对话。
教学重点 学生能准确理解文本内容“Visiting a fire station”,能听、说、读新词汇如fire station\fire engine\dangerous等,能通过语篇学习学会如何获取关键信息。学生能了解基本的消防知识,了解消防员的主要工作,尊重消防职业。
教学难点 学生能体会语篇中图片与文字的关系,利用标题、图片与信息辅助语篇理解。学生能在听、读、看的过程中,有目的地提取和梳理所需信息。

设计理念 本课紧紧围绕单元主题“Jobs”展开,利用歌曲复习各类职业名称进行热身,继而引入“Miss Fang and students”的一次外出参观,通过观看视频引出语篇主题“Visiting a fire station”。在这个语篇的学习过程中紧紧围绕“What”和“How”来展开。首先利用What can the students see in the fire station 这一主线问题带领学生进行分段学习。在三段的学习过程中,采用不同的教学活动,如Listen and answer/Read and answer/Discuss with partner 等,引导学生学习fire engine/fire fighters/sign这些他们的所见。在段落式的学习中落实新词汇新句型的语音语调,鼓励学生自我发现与同伴合作学习;在问题的引领下,引导学生积极阅读对话与图片,获取有用信息并学会梳理表达。接着抛出围绕How的三个小问题:How is the fire engine How are the firefighters How is the fire 引导学生进行自主通篇阅读,将关键的词或相关句型划出,通过自己的思考来回答问题。教师给出一定的阅读技巧指导。在详细处理了文本的理解之后,通过听音跟读,小组分角色朗读进一步巩固学生对文本的掌握,以此也能关注到全体学生,力争让每个孩子都能有机会“卷”入到课堂的学习活动中来。最后利用板书带领学生进行文本复述,引出主题教育意义:Fire is very dangerous. We should be careful! Firefighters are very brave. They are all super and great! 思考:What else great jobs do you know 引导学生能关注到身边的great jobs, 感悟到这些职业背后的人格品质!

They are visiting the fire station.) Read the sentences together. Show the picture and ask: Look, this is a fire station. How is it Ss: It’s big. It’s red. It’s great… If we see the fire. We can call the fire station. 119Encourage Ss guess: What’s in the fire station Ss: Fire engine, firefighters…Step two. While-reading (读中)T: Let’s go and have a look with Miss Fang and the students. First please listen and answer: Who do they meet there Elicit to say: They meet Mr. Xu. He is Jill’s father. He is a firefighter.
