【学习任务一】Learn how to appreciate a poem. Make a list of questions that the readers should consider while reading poem. Learn four aspects of poem appreciation: identify poetic form, appreciate poetic language, find poetic imagery and feel poetic meaning. Appreciate a poem DREAM from perspectives of poetic form, poetic language, poetic imagery and poetic meaning. Read a short essay about the poem DREAM in textbook on page 57 and identify elements of the poem mentioned in the essay. Learn how the writer develop the short essay by analyzing poetic form, poetic language, poetic imagery and poetic meaning of the poem. . 【学习任务二】 Read and analyze a poem individually. Read and analyze the poem WIND ON THE HILL individually. 【学习任务三】Write a short essay about a poem Write a short essay about WIND ON THE HILL by following the structure and expressions of the essay on page 57 exercise. . Present your essays to the class. 【学习任务四】Write a poem Think about how to write a poem. Learn five steps(corresponding to four aspects of the poem) to write a poem. Follow a specific example of writing a poem step by step. Write your own poems step by step. Step 1: What message do you want to give to the reader What is important to you Theme: Feelings/ emotions: Step 2: Make a list of words related to your theme.
