学情分析 本节课是基于本单元的话题逆境与勇气,在介绍沙克尔顿及其团队南极探险遇困的整个故事的第三部分——坚持之后的奖励,也就是团队得到救助,脱困的这一部分。学生在之前的阅读部分及听说部分已经对整个故事有了大部分的了解,同时,故事的趣味性、曲折性让学生对该部分内容充满极大的兴趣。因此,在文本解读和语篇分析部分学生能够灵活处理。但是,本节课的主要任务是基于对故事基本内容,人物情感转变以及文章主题,改写回忆录的结尾部分,因此对学生而言也充满极大的挑战。
教学目标 Language ability Be able to read about a memoir and know the characteristics of memoirs; Can identify the basic elements of the story and sort out plot line and emotional line with the mind map; Learning ability Be able to master the strategies and methods of reading and continuation writing; Can rewrite the ending of the story with G-N&Q-A strategy and Action+Emotion strategy; Thinking capacity Can retell the story and analyze personality and changes of feelings of the characters; Be able to rewrite the final part of the story based on understanding of the story content; Cultural awareness Learn about optimism and perseverance and take an optimistic and perseverant attitude towards daily life.

Step2: Lead-in Based on the background of the story, lead students to predict the situation of other crew members on Elephant Island. Step7: Evaluation and Share Let students share their drafts to each other and evaluate the drafts based on the following checklist. Step8: Assignment 1. Exchange and polish your draft with your partners; 2.
