教学过程
Step1 Lead-in(学习理解类) T:There is a poster from our English Club. What’s it Read the poster and get the information about why/what/How. Why do they have such an activity To help us find pen friends. What do we need to do To introduce ourselves. How to have a pen friend To be sincere and attractive. 设计意图:通过创设英语俱乐部找笔友的活动,激发学生的兴趣。引导学生关注写作目的和写作内容的组织。
Step2 Pre-writing(运用实践类) Activity1: What do you look like 1.Use the mind map to help students call back the vocabularies of appearance. 2.Review the appearance of Sally and think about how to write our own appearance. 设计意图:通过思维导图唤醒学生有关外貌描写的词汇储备,为写作搭建内容支架。通过梳理范文Sally的外貌描写来获取选择能够凸显自己特征的外貌特征的写作手法,促进写作目的的达成。 Activity2: What are your hobbies T: What’s your hobby Why do you like it Eg: I love reading. I feel really relaxed when I’m reading.(feeling) I usually spend a lot of time reading classic literature works.(behavior) It is said that reading makes a full man. I learn a lot about the world through reading.(result) Please write down your hobbies and add feeling-behavior-result. 设计意图:通过示范,为学生搭建写作支架。让学生感受到通过添加感受、行为和结果来更好地描述自己的爱好。通过仿写,实现写作方法的实践。 Activity3: What are you like Use the mind map to help students to think about the vocabularies about personalities. Students talk about their own personalities. Lead them to add feelings, behaviors and results to make themselves understood better. 3.Lead students to think how to make the languages more attractive. T: How do you feel when you are with strangers How do you feel when you need to answer the questions in class 4.Students try to use when clause to write about “I am friendly and kind”. 设计意图:通过思维导图,帮助学生梳理有关个性的词汇。通过师生交流,引导学生用添加feeling-behavior-result.来介绍自己的个性。引导学生思考,如何使描述个性的语言更具吸引力,感受用when引导的时间状语从句表达的意义,能使描述更加生动。
Step3 Writing(迁移创新类) 1.Students write a letter to introduce themselves. Dear friend: It was great to have a pen friend. I can’t wait to introduce myself. My name is __________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I can’t tell you how excited I am about having a pen friend. Look forward to your letters. Love, _________ 2.Use the checklist to make their letters better.
Step4 Homework Must do: Polish your letters and post it to the English Club. Choose to do: Write a passage to introduce your best friends and share in class.
