How to Make a Good First Impression If you want to leave a deep impression, here are some tips for you. First of all, keep yourself clean and tidy. Appearance, including how you dress, can help convey information about who you are to others. If you are dressed correctly for the moment, it may help people form a good impression of you. Fourthly, show you are polite by smiling at others or looking at others' eyes when talking with others instead of looking away from him or her, which shows you don't respect the person you are talking with. don't interrupt others when they are talking. Last but not least, if you are very optimistic (乐观的） and self-confident（自信的） in your life, you will certainly be welcomed by the people around you.
