教学重难点: Talk about the personal experiences in the tense of present perfect.
教学过程
Step1 Lead-in Talk about the Asian Games. T:These are the logos of the Asian Games. We’re excited about the coming Asian Games in Zhejiang. Have you ever watched the Asian Games Have you ever heard of Xv Jiayu, a swimmer from Wenzhou?He has ever entered the Asian Games and has won the prize. He will enter the Asian Games again this year. We are proud of him. Step2 Presentation Continue to talk about Xv Jiayu T: Recently, he has made his best score in Men’s 100m Backstroke--52″47. He has won the first prize. (success) --What makes his success --He has practised swimming since he was in the primary school. He has entered several big competitions before and has won prizes in them. (experiences) In some way, experiences make success. Guide Students to share their experiences: I have entered ... competition, and I have won the first/second/third prize. Step3 The first listening T: There are competitions for every student. Every student must enter at least one competition. Listen, what competition are Tony and Lingling talking about Check the answer: writing and speaking competitions. Encourage students to talk about their own experiences with the following sentence patterns. A: Have you ever _________competition B: Yes, ________./No, ________. But I’ve _________ competition. A: Have you won a prize in it B: ___________. Step4 The second&third&listening Get Ss to listen again and answer questions: what competitions have they entered And what prize have they won Get students to listen for the third time and answer: What are Lingling’s and Tony’s choices What’s the prize of the competition ( A book) What does Tony think he will get, a travel or a book Check the answers. Meanwhile, explain the usages of the tense of the present perfect. Step5 Post-listening 1.Read and think Students read the whole conversation and think: Will Tony enter the writing competition?If they were Tony, would they enter the writing competition Why or why not Lead students to realize that prizes can include two parts: material and immaterial. Show time Students finish the survey for competitions. Four students a group. Student A: Ask. (询问组内每人的经历、选择和原因) Student B: Write. (将询问结果记入任务单上的表格) Student C: Check. (监督本组对话是否符合要求) Student D: Comment.
