first of all 首先(一般强调事情发生的先后)
at first 起初,开始(强调事情的开头,当初)
如:First of all,let’s sing a song.
首先,我们来唱首歌吧。

起初,似乎一切进行得很顺利。
3.Whose bag is this? 这是谁的包?
此句相当于“Whose is this bag?”(这个包是谁的?)。whose既可作形容词性物主代词,后面接名词,也可作名词性物主代词,后面无须再接名词。类似的物主代词有his(他的),its(它的)等。

从这些句子可以观察到,mine,yours,hers后面都没有接名词,这些词是名词性物主代词;my后面接的是名词,这样的词是形容词性物主代词。
形容词性物主代词的基本用法相当于形容词,后面一定要接名词。
名词性物主代词的基本用法相当于名词,后面一定不能再接名词。
如:This is her desk. 这是她的桌子。
This desk is hers. 这张桌子是她的。
为了避免重复使用名词,我们经常用名词性物主代词来代替“形容词性物主代词+名词”的形式。
如:He likes my pen.He doesn’t like hers (= her pen). 他喜欢我的钢笔,不喜欢她的。

在以here或there引导的句子中,谓语动词的数取决于后面的名词。后面的名词是可数名词的单数形式或不可数名词时,谓语动词用单数形式;后面的名词是可数名词的复数形式时,谓语动词用复数形式;后面的名词如果既有单数形式又有复数形式,就按照“就近原则”确定谓语动词的单复数形式。

如:We should be careful with our study.
