考点一：基数词
0-12: zero, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine,
ten, eleven, twelve
13-19 个位数后面+teen: ( thirteen, fifteen, eighteen 特殊）
fourteen, sixteen, seventeen, nineteen
20-90 个位数后面+ty: (twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, eighty特殊)
sixty, seventy, ninety
三位数以上（百位数和十位数之间用and 连接）：
102 one hundred and two,
2230 two thousand two hundred and thirty
1. 基数词的构成
hundred 百，thousand 千，million 百万，billion 十亿 （没有万
和亿）， 前面加具体数字，只用单数； 表示不确切数量，用复数形
式，并且与of连用
hundreds of 成百上千 thousands of 成千上万
millions of 数以百万计 billions of 数以亿计
There are more than five hundred books in the school
library. 学校图书馆有超过五百本书。
There are hundreds of books in the school library.
学校图书馆有成百上千本书。
具体年龄：基数词{+year(s) old}
I am 13 (years old) this year.我今年13岁。
转换成形容词：基数词-year-old (year不+s)
年龄表达： I am a 13-year-old girl. 我是一个13岁的女孩。
大概年龄： in one’s +整十的复数
The man became a basketball player in his twenties.
2. 基数词的运用 这个人在他二十多岁是成为了一名篮球运动员。
一次用once, 两次用twice
I usually do sports twice a week.
我通常一周锻炼两次
次数表达：
三次或三次以上：基数词+times
I usually watch TV three times a week.

1. 基数词变序数词
y变ie 加 th: twenty → twentieth
要是遇上几十几，只变个位就可以：
twenty-one → twenty-first
其余都是加th : four → fourth
序数词前面通常+the
