A sample presentation of the preparation for an earthquake
Good afternoon everyone, I’d like to thank you for giving me the chance to present the preparation for an earthquake to you. There’s no way to prevent an earthquake, but you can prepare for it to survive.
First of all, before an earthquake make a safety list of what to do, where to go and who to contact. Then during an earthquake, remember to drop, cover and hold on. If you are outdoors, go to an open space away from buildings, trees, or power lines. Finally after the earthquake, use a cellphone to get help. You can also tap on a pipe or a wall or whistle for help.
Now for your emergency supplies, we would suggest always having on hand enough water and food for three days, and you might not be able to get them in the supermarket. After that, a radio is very necessary to keep you informed. Meanwhile you need a first aid kit to do first aid, a blanket to keep warm, a flashlight to see things in the darkness and sent signals, as well as important documents to prove your identity.
In a word, I hope my sharing will be useful for you. Thank you for your attention.

The Preparation for a Fire at Home
Good morning everyone, I’m glad to be here to present the preparation for a fire at home to you.
Before the fire, draw a map of your home showing all the doors and windows. Then have smoke detectors tested once a month and always check the batteries. Meanwhile make sure doors and windows can be opened easily. During the fire, stay calm and don’t fall into panic. Secondly, get low, crawl below the smoke and cover your face with wet towels. Thirdly, don’t take a lift to escape or jump from a building. At last, get out quickly and never go back inside the house before the fire is put out.
Now for your emergency supplies, we would suggest always having an extinguisher to put out the fire timely, a whistle to call for help, a fire blanket to protect you from fire, a rope to help you escape as well as a first aid kit to do first aid.
All in all, please remember these tips to protect yourselves in case of a fire at home. Thank you for your attention.
