Unit 7
In order to let me study better, my parents make some rules for me. I don’t agree with one of them, which doesn’t allow me to go out to play with my friends on weekends, because they think it’s a waste of time.
However, I think teenagers should be allowed to go out with their friends because teenagers should communicate more with their peers. Moreover, going out to play at the weekend for a proper time can make me feel relaxed. I can also learn the advantages of my friends, and this is helpful to my studies. In addition, friends can encourage each other to study hard and make progress together.
As far as I am concerned, this rule should be changed properly. If I’m allowed to go out to play with my friends on weekends, I can do even better in my studies.
1. 你对此现象的看法;
2. 你经历的、听到的或看到的事例;
As far as I'm concerned, it is of great importance to stay calm and reasonable when our parents and teachers blame or criticize us, which is beneficial for our lifelong development.
I still remember the day when I had an English class. Seeing Li Ming falling asleep,our teacher, Miss Hu, woke him up and reminded him to listen to her carefully.
To my surprise, Li Ming rushed out of the classroom without permission. It was so impolite and rude to do so. Later, I talked with him and he realized that the teacher expected to help him develop a good habit and that he wasn't so calm at that time. Therefore, he picked up his courage and said sorry to Miss Hu in front of the whole class.
It's a good idea to keep calm and think about it for a moment whenever you are blamed or criticized. Sometimes a small change of yourself may lead to a big difference in your life.
