1.动词使用三单形式的前提是什么?
2. 动词原形如何变为第三人称单数?
动词原形变为单三形式与可数名词变复数的比较
v.变单三形式 可数名词变复数
1. 原形直接加-s, 如eats, rises, arises, makes. 1. 词尾直接加-s, 如books, caps, trees, students, teachers.
2. 以s, sh, ch, x, o, z结尾的动词, 加-es, 如 discusses, teaches, goes, does, fixes, buzzes, catches, washes. 2.以s,sh, ch, x结尾的名词,加-es, 如glasses, boxes, watches, brushes.
3. 以辅音字母加y结尾的动词,变y为i加es, 如studies, carries, flies. 3. 以辅音字母加y结尾的名词,变y为i加es, 如stories, countries.
4. 特殊情况have变has 4. 个别以O结尾的名词,加es, 它们是: 黑人和英雄在回声中吃土豆和西红柿, 即negro, hero, echo, potato, tomato.
5. 以f/fe结尾的名词变复数时,一般加-s, 但是个别需要将f/fe变为-ves, 它们是:为了自己活命,小偷和妻子拿着刀和一片树叶站在架子上,把狼劈成两半。

动词原形如何变为现在分词形式?
一般情况下,加-ing, 如 trying, studying, working等.。
以辅音字母+元音字母+辅音字母结尾的重读音节, 双写最后一个辅音字母,加-ing, 如regretting, banning, preferring, occurring, referring等。
以不发音的字母e结尾的动词, 去掉e加-ing, 如hating, dating, liking等。
动词原形如何变为过去式和过去分词?
一般情况下,加-ed, 如worked, packed等。
以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,直接加-d, 如liked, provided, loved等。
以辅音字母加y结尾的动词, 变y为i,加-ed,
如carried, studied等。 (与动词单三,名词变复数相似)
4. 以辅音字母+元音字母+辅音字母结尾的重读音节,双写最后一个辅音字母加-ed,如planned, preferred, occurred, referred等 。(与v-ing变形相似)
5. 不规则变化。
读下面的句子,找出谓语动词并说出其原形。
He who laughs last laughs best.
The sun rises in the east.
Jim goes to school by bus every day.
Every man dies; not every man really lives.
Later they may give performances in pubs or clubs, for which they are paid in cash.
I am protecting myself from mosquitoes.
