3. Use Object Clause to write or give a suggestion.

2. Use Object Clause to express opinions and ideas.
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up According to the title, do some Prediction. Q1: Whose smile is it Q2: Why a smile can be beautiful Q3: Who wrote the passage (Learning tip 1 : When you read a story, focus on the five w h -questions. (Who/Where/When/What/Why) Step 2 Presentation Task 1 Read paragraph 1-2 and answer. Q1: Who are the main characters Zhang Bei and a girl. Q2: When did the story happen In the early autumn when Zhang Bei was 13 years old. Q3: Where did it take place At Zhangbei’s new school. Task 2 Read paragraph 2-6 and answer. Q4: What was Zhang Bei’s problem at first Q5: What happened one day Q6: What happened after that Q7: What are Zhang Bei and the girl like now (In what order does the writer tell us these main events in her story Time order) (Learning tip 2 : To describe a story in time order.) Task 3 Read paragraph 7-8 and answer. Q7: Why did the girl smile at Zhang Bei that day Q8: What suggestion does Zhang Bei give us (Learning tip 3 : Learn to use the object clause to give a suggestion.) Step 3 Post reading Task 1 Do a Storytelling competition. Do a Storytelling competition with some information. (Learning tip 4 : Use some words to express the feelings.)
