教学目标
1. 在分享“交友之道”活动中,复习、梳理描述友谊的相关语言; 2. 分析、判断积极的“处友之道”,并基于友谊问题给出恰当的建议; 3. 基于情境,写一篇短文分享交友、处友的经历,并进行自评、互评。
教学内容
教学重点: 1.复习本模块友谊话题下的相关词汇和语言知识,深入理解并提炼交友之道。
2.合作提炼“ABCD”处友之道“P-ABC Rule”—— Positive attitude-Positive behavior- Positive communication,并内化迁移处友之道。
教学难点: 1. 如何创设真实的主题情境,如何让学生有话可说。
2. 如何有效引导学生提炼出评价量表,并能恰当地分享友谊。
教学过程
环节一:Build friendships (交友之道) (在分享“交友之道”活动中,复习、梳理描述友谊的相关语言) Activity 1: Greet and lead in topic --- “Friends” (Show the students a treasure box on the screen) T: I have a treasure box. The things in the box are valuable and important for me. Can you guess what is in the box Ss: knowledge, parents, friends, ... Activity 2: Learn about Ada’s friends (Show some pictures of Ada’s friends) T: I have a lot of friends. Let’s get to know something about Ada’s friends. (Guide students to complete the passage by choosing proper words or phrases.) encourage, circle, trust, bright, stay in touch Ada has a wide circle of friends. All of them are important and special to her. Ada has been friends with Dong since they were little kids. Dong is quite outgoing. Her bright smile always makes Ada feel warm and lively. Qinrui appeared in Ada’s life when they were in Middle School. Although Qinrui is shy, whatever she does, she never gives up. That always encourages Ada, especially when Ada is in trouble. Charlie is Ada’s pen friend from Australia. They stay in touch by writing letters. They both like travelling. In the letters, they like to share their stories of each journey. They don’t stick together like glue, but they understand and trust each other. (Guide students to read and think: What makes Ada’s friends special ) T: Ada’s friends are all important and special. What are they like What makes them special Let’s read and get more information. ... And guide students to conclude the things that make friends special. Activity 3: Introduce the friend T: What makes your friend special Now it’s your turn to introduce one of your friends. (Guide students to introduce their friends by telling who is your friend, how long have you been friends, what makes the friend special.) 设计说明:(学习理解)本环节通过“treasure box”模块目标单词引入友谊话题,基于“build friendships”之情境,复习运用话题相关词汇和表达,并能围绕who、how long、what special等三个内容介绍朋友,为最后的输出活动做铺垫! 环节二:Keep friendships (处友之道) (分析、判断积极的“处友之道”,并基于友谊问题给出恰当的建议) Activity 1: Listen for the problem T: However, it’s natural to have problems between friends. How can we solve the problems properly and keep friendships (Guide students to predict and then listen for Charlie’s problem--- listen and choose) My best friend has found a new friend best friend. My long-lasting friendship with someone is coming to an end. I have moved to a new school and I’m lonely. My best friend’s parents don’t like me. (Guide students to listen again for details--- listen and complete the chart) Charlie’s friendshipWith whoHow longDetails of the problem Sam Over ten yearsCharlie thinks the friendship is different/ the same. Charlie asks whether he should make new friends or he should try to get the friendship back.
Activity 2: Read for advice Encourage students to try to give Charlie some advice. Guide students to read fast and choose the heading for each piece of advice. Read carefully and think: Which piece of advice do you prefer based on “P-ABC” rule Are they persuasive After discussing, guide students to find out that We’d better give positive advice based on P-ABC rule (positive attitude- positive behavior- positive communication). It’s more persuasive to give advice with reasons or examples. 设计说明:(实践运用)本环节通过“Charlie’s problem”引入子话题——处友之道,在分析判断建议的恰当性和说服性的基础上提炼“交友之道”——P-ABC rule。同时帮助学生构建结构化知识,为后面的输出打下基础,也为未来的做人做事奠定思维基础! 环节三:Share friendships (分享友谊) (基于情境,写一篇短文分享交友、处友的经历,并进行自评、互评) (Show the poster of the IPF) T: International Pen Friends is inviting all the people around the world to share their friendships on World Friendship Day. Why not join them and share your friendships Request: 1. Describe your friend. 2. Share your story with your friend to show your way to keep friendship. 书面表达评价量表 Write and share your friendship!短文中,我能:我使用了:描述朋友: Who is your friend How long have you been friends What makes your friend special some key words in this module, like encourage, trust, treat, patient, treasure ... 分享处友之道: Share positive ways to keep friendships. 设计说明:(迁移创新)本环节通过“World Friendship Day”IPF征集友谊分享的情境,引导学生在提炼写作评价量表,通过内容和语言分享友谊。 Homework: You must: 1. review the vocabulary and expressions of Module 9 and finish the vocabulary exercises; 复习记忆本模块话题词汇和相关表达并完成词汇练习; 2. complete the writing according to the checklist. 依据评价量表完成书面表达; 3. share your writing in your group and polish it with your group members. 依据评价量表在组内开展互评; You can: 1. make a poster to share your friendship. 制作一张海报来分享你的友谊故事!
