Promoting traditional Chinese festivals
Traditional Chinese festivals are an important part of Chinese culture, which we
must protect and promote so that our children can understand what it means to be
Chinese.(S1) Traditional festivals teach us about our country's history.(S2) By
observing traditional festivals, we will have a better understanding of the historical
importance in our country, therefore we can develop our national pride.(S3)
Many parties have importance roles to play in promoting traditional Chinese
festivals. First of all, the government should declare public holidays on some
traditional festivals.(S1) Moreover, the media can help spread more knowledge about
these traditions so as to raise people's interest in the origins and history of the
festivals.(S2) Finally, schools can also hold more activities which help draw students'
attention to our traditions.(S3)
With the joint effort of these different parties, people will pay more attention to
traditional festivals, and be proud of Chinese culture.(S1)
