“What does sb.look like ” 常用于询问某人的外表;而“What is sb.like ”常用于询问人品或性格。这两句的like都是介词,意为“像……”。如:

B:He’s tall and thin. 他又高又瘦。
A:What is Tony like  托尼的性格怎么样
B:He is very friendly.他很友善。

你想跟他见面吗
— Yes,I’d like to. 是的,我想。
“Would you like to do … ”意为“你想要做……吗 ”常用于对他人发出邀请或提出建议。肯定回答是“Yes,I’d like to.”,否定回答是“I’d like to,but …”或“I’m afraid …”。

系动词的用法
  系动词也称为连系动词。系动词本身有词义,但不能单独用作谓语,后面必须接形容词或名词等作表语,以说明主语的状况、性质、特征等情况。
1.状态系动词
用于表示主语状态的只有be动词。如: He is a teacher.他是一名教师。
2.感官和知觉系动词
感官和知觉系动词主要有feel,smell,sound,taste,look等。
如: Does this kind of cloth feel very soft  这种布料摸起来很软吗
This flower doesn’t smell sweet.这朵花闻起来不香。
3.持续系动词
用于表示主语继续或保持一种状态或态度,主要有keep,stay等。
如: He always keeps silent at the meeting.他开会时总是保持沉默。
He tried to stay calm.他尽力保持冷静。
4.变化系动词
用于表示主语发生的变化,主要有become,get,go,grow,turn等。
如:He became mad after that.自那之后,他疯了。
It gets cold in November.十一月份天气变冷。
The computer doesn’t go wrong.那台电脑没有出现故障。
