可数名词&不可数名词
1．可数名词有单复数形式的变化，其变化规律如下：

以辅音字母＋ y结尾 变y为i再加－es country—countries，

2.不规则变化的名词。
(1)单复数不同形。
child—children 小孩　foot—feet 脚　tooth—teeth 牙齿
man—men 男人　woman—women 女人　mouse—mice 老鼠
(2)单复数同形。
sheep 绵羊　deer 鹿　Chinese中国人　Japanese 日本人
3．可数名词可直接用不定冠词或数词来修饰。不可数名词前不能用不定冠词或数词直接修饰。
如：
a book 一本书(√)　two pens 两支笔(√)
a water (×)　three meat (×)

4．不可数名词表示数量的多少时，需借助适当的量词做单位，构成结构：“不定冠词/数词＋量词＋ of ＋不可数名词”。其单复数变化体现在量词上。同时，可数名词也适用于此结构。
常见量词有：piece，pair，cup，glass，bottle，bowl，bag，box，basket，kilo等。
如：a cup of tea 一杯茶　　　three bowls of rice 三碗米饭
a basket of apples 一篮子苹果 two boxes of eggs 两盒鸡蛋
5．可数名词可以用some，any，few，a few，many，a lot of，lots of来修饰。不可数名词则用some，any，little，a little，much，a lot of，lots of来修饰。
如：There are a few apples in the basket.　篮子里有几个苹果。
There is little water in the bottle.　瓶子里几乎没有水了。

6．可数名词用how many来询问数量，不可数名词用how much来询问数量。
如：How many boys are there in your class？　
你班上有多少个男孩？
How much meat do you want？　你想要多少肉？

7．单数可数名词作主语时，谓语动词用第三人称单数形式；复数可数名词作主语时，谓语动词用复数形式。不可数名词作主语时，谓语动词用第三人称单数形式；但是，当不可数名词前有复数名词短语修饰时，谓语动词就要用复数形式。
如：The boy is handsome.　这个男孩很英俊。
These boys are handsome.　这些男孩很英俊。
The water is dirty.　水很脏。
There are three bottles of water in the fridge.　冰箱里有三瓶水。

8．有些名词既是可数名词，又是不可数名词，但意义有所不同。
如：
chicken (鸡肉)— a chicken (一只鸡)　
orange (橙汁)— an orange (一个橙子)
room (空间)— a room (一个房间)
