Next day I told my instructor. “Sure you can do it,” he said. He slid the door of the snake carrier open. “Now put your elbow in — slowly — and wait for him to crawl on your arm. Good,that’s the way.” He wasn’t wet or slimy. He was dry and ... soft! But it was scary! Mr. Lindsey stood beside me. “Relax, Melanie. You need to show him you aren’t afraid. paragraph2: I closed the carrier and signaled the kids to come inside.我关上了运蛇箱,示意孩子们进来。
分析:“进来”是指进入到哪里?我当时正在教室里,所以推测,这里的进入可能是让孩子们更近距离地接触蟒蛇。根据原文可知,我对蛇的信任让我喜欢上了它,所以在这一段要出现教练对我说的话,由我教给孩子们“信任”的重要性。
