教材分析
本课时继续围绕“假期生活”的话题展开以读为主的语言实践活动,在“给朋友写明信片”的情境下,引导学生继续学习正确使用所学语言谈论天气,用现在进行时态简单描述人们正在进行的活动。本课是一节阅读课,教学活动以阅读训练为主,通过阅读进一步巩固所学语言,为下节课输出性写作活动作铺垫。2a是读前活动,要求学生描述图片中的天气状况以及人们的不同活动,从而巩固前面所学的基本词汇,同时为接下来的阅读做好准备;2b通过明信片的阅读,将本单元的互致问候、谈论天气、询问正在进行的活动等单元重点功能结构一一呈现出来,显得自然贴切,而且具有使用性。
学情分析
通过前三个课时听、说、读等形式的训练学习,学生已经基本掌握了互致问候、谈论天气状况及描述人们的即时活动的表达方式。学生对谈论旅行这一内容较感兴趣,同时该部分学习内容贴近学生生活,极易于激发学生的学习主动性和学习兴趣,利于本节课语言实践活动的顺利开展。

单元主题:人与自然 单元话题:天气与日常生活。 单元功能:学习如何讨论天气以及在不同天气情况下人们所进行的活动。 主题意义:谈论天气;教育学生善于观察天气,了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观念。 单元内容分析: 本单元主要内容是学习如何讨论天气以及在不同天气情况下人们所进行的活动。教材分别以对话,采访,明信片的语篇为载体促进学生对询问天气句型词汇和现在进行时态的掌握。培养学生能够用英语谈论天气以及描述现在进行的事情,可以让学生根据所学计划出行享受假期理解地域差异。培养学生学会分享以及促进他们对生活的热爱。 本单元分为Section A和Section B两部分。其中Section A以听说为主,主要包含:1.两个听力语篇:1)听对话填城市名称;2)听对话排序和匹配活动;2.一个口语对话语篇(电话对话描述天气和活动)。3.一个语法知识(如何谈论天气和运用现在进行时谈论活动)。Section B的内容在Section A的基础上进行了拓展,包括:1.一个听力语篇:1)各种天气给人的感觉;2)在各种天气下的活动和感受。2.一个大阅读语篇:Su Lin和Dave各自写给Jane的明信片;3.一个读写综合任务:Write a postcard to a friend,让学生谈论自己的假期及正在做的事情。本单元Section A的结尾穿插有Grammar Focus,强调本单元的目标语言学习;单元末尾有Self Check,对本单元的目标语言句式进行强化。 单元大观念: 根据《义务教育英语课程标准(2022年版)》对初中英语课程内容的描述以及对单元各语篇的研读和主题提炼,笔者梳理出本单元语言大观念为:运用目标语言描述天气和活动,语言小观念为:1.运用与天气有关的名词+y变成形容词来描述天气,如rainy,cloudy,sunny等;2.运用现在进行时描述人们的活动;3.运用日常问候“How’s it going ”与他人打交道。本单元主题大观念为“人与自然”范畴下的“天气与日常活动”。通过整合,笔者将Section A 1a-1c作为第一课时,提炼课时子主题为“世界主要国家与城市的天气”;将Section A 2a-2d和Section B1a-1e作为第二课时,提炼课时子主题为“同伴交往与文化自信”;将Grammar Focus-3b作为第三课时,提炼课时子主题为“生活与学习”;将Section A 2a-2d及Section B 1a-1e作为第四课时,提炼课时主题为“不同生态地区的生态特征与自然景观”。此外,笔者还增加了两篇拓展阅读材料和一个综合实践任务,作为第五课时,提炼课时主题为“热爱与敬畏自然,与自然和谐共生”。单元主题框架结构图如下: 单元核心语篇分析:

已有基础:通过第六单元的学习,学生已经初步接触现在进行时态,能够正确使用该时态陈述正在发生的事情并进行回答,对该结构的一般疑问句及其回答也进行了一定的运用。 存在问题:需要创设一定情境。同时缺少对信息进行信息概括和整合的能力。 发展需求: 需要多进行鼓励和引导,比较上一单元,本单元增设了一个日常生活中的重要情景,谈论天气极易于激发其学习英语的欲望和兴趣 发展途径:教师在课堂设计时应由旧知引新知,发挥优势,设计有趣的课堂任务引导学生进行自主学习和语言实践,渗透学法指导并引导学生逐步养成良好的英语学惯。
