1.dream （dreams/dreamed dreamt/dreamed dreamt/dreaming）
vt.做梦，梦想: dream that: I dreamt/dreamed (that)I was in London.
vi.dream of/about sb./sth. 梦见某人/某物：I often dream of/about you.
dream on 继续做梦，痴心妄想
dream of/about doing sth.梦见做某事：I dreamed of flying in the sky./
I dreamed of finding the gold.
think of 想，考虑，想起：Do you ever think of the man you met at a party
n.梦，梦想： have a dream = dream a dream 做了一个梦
Have a good/sweat dream! 祝你做个好梦！
dream boat 梦寐以求的（人、物）：Do you have dream boat
daydream 思想开小差，做白日梦： She is daydreaming.
2.age n.年龄：at the age of 在....年纪时；information age 信息化时代；iron age 铁器时代
v. 使变老；adj.年老的
3.channel n.海峡：the Channel; the English Channel; the British Channel 都是英吉利海峡
throw (threw, thrown) v. 扔，抛：Don’t throw stones at the dog.
throw away 扔掉；throw...at/to/towards 朝...扔；throw up呕吐
throw off轻易地作出；throw sb. Into(to)prison 把某人投入监狱
throw good money after bad投石问路;
throw sb.an angry look 瞪了某人一眼
throw the bottle into the sea
课文解释：
1.across越过，穿过，横过”从物体表面穿过”：We walked across the street.
through从物体内部穿过；over在物体地正上方越过
2.think of 考虑，想起，认为：What do you think of the film
think about考虑；think over 仔细考虑；He is thinking about a question. Please think it over.
3.each other 互相，彼此：We must all help each other.
one another 三者或以上的互相，有时可替代each other
4.cost”使花费，价钱为...”主语是某物或事：sth.cost (sb.)...花了某人...(钱)
e.g.The dress cost me twenty pounds.
take 花费：It takes sb. +时间+to do sth. 做某事花了某人多少时间
doing sth. takes sb.+时间；做某事花了某人多少时间
spend 主语必须是人：spend time/money on sth./(in)doing sth. 花时间/钱做某事
e.g.I spent an hour(in) finishing my work./I spent an hour on my work.
5. more adj./代词，文中的more (代词) = more money: give me more
a little 稍微 + 比较级； much +比较级 “多得多”
It’s a little hotter./ It’s much hotter./
little more expensive. (稍微有点贵) much more expensive 贵得多
修饰比较级：a little(bit), much/a lot/far: far more exciting 更令人兴奋
even(甚至):even less lucky;
