This lesson is the listening part of Section B. 【What】The listening conversation is between Mary and Bob. They’re talking about how Bob gets to his grandparents’ home. 【Why】 Students can use linking words, i.e., first, next, then, finally to talk about getting to a place by using different types of transportation. 【How】This conversation is easy for students to understand. They can extract key information from the it by locating key words and the questions in 1c.

【Know】Students are highly motivated before the class. They have a general understanding of transports. And some key words and expressions in the conversation have been previewed before this class. 【Want to know】Students want to know how to express getting to a place by using different types of transportation.Then they can practice in daily life. 【Learned】At the end of this class, students will summarize what they’ve learned.
