学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)六年级下册第四单元,本单元学习的主题是“Then and now”。本单元的学习主题是谈论过去和现在的变化,学生学习、理解和运用一最过去时、 一般现在时和一般将来时三种时态描述事物和人物的变化。本单元通过不同的场景,引导学生感受变化无处不在,感受自身的变化,感受社会的变化。引导人要积极应对变化,享更变化。 本单元内容的教学对象是六年级学生,他们已经具备一定的听、说、读、写能力。经过三年多的英语学习,他们在课堂上基本能够听懂老师的提问,能够根据图片提示获取关键信息,能进行简单的对话表达。六年级的学生已经掌握并能灵活使用大量动作词组、形容词,他们在前两单元已经接触过比较级、一般过去式的用法,并能有意识从多个维度去描述学校、自己或者身边的人。但是学生的词汇量有限,对于六年级的学生来说,提出保护地球的建议存在一定的难度,而本单元的重点则是引导学生通过事物、人物的今昔对比,呈现不同的变化。引导学生积极看待自己以及身边的变化,从而认识自我、完善自我以及丰富自我,了解世界的变化,为守护地球家园做力所能及的事情。
二、单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题。本单元要学习的核心词汇gym, dining hall, grass,…years ago, last year, …months ago, last months,go cycling, ice-skate, play badminton等词汇 。在单元主题意义的引领下,以“Then and now” 为主题,教师要注意设计生活化,充分利用教材已经设定的情境开展活动,帮助学生在合作学习中和任务型学习中正确表达所学句型。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A learngym, dining hall, grass,…years ago, last year, …months ago, last monthsThere is/are ...There was/were...学习3个核心词汇和一般过去时时间状语1课时学习核心词汇的音形义, 会用所学词汇和句型描述现在和过去存在的事物A talkstar, easy, look up, Internet1.The Americans took about five days to get there in 1969.2.I looked it up on the Internet. 3. 本节课是词汇篇, 主要学习核心词汇gym, dining hall, grass,…years ago, last year, …months ago, last months, 根据图片, 音频, 书写等让学生从听觉、视觉直观感知本节课的核心词汇和句型,There is/are ...There was/were...等谈论某个地方之前和现在都有什么等相关问题。再通过Find the mistakes等, 一起巩固句型和词汇 ,更利于学生理解,加强与他人的了解与沟通,学会合理安排周末活动。
