1-5 CABCA 6- 10 BCAAB 11- 15 CBABC 16-20 ACBAC
21—23 CBC 24—27 CACB 28—31 CCAD 32—35 ACBD
Passage A
21.C。根据第一个小标题下的第二句话中的“Nairobi National Park,.. is a must-see,
where visitors can see over 400 species wandering the open grass plains...”
22.B。根据第四个小标题中的"offers a high-quality travel experience at a reasonable
cost”以及“enioy excellent services and facilities.. without having to spend too much
money"可以总结出 cost-effective(划算的)这个词。
Passage B
24. C。通过文章第二段“they have a weighty responsibility: to receive the torch (火
炬) and ensure the security of ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i for future generations.”
25. A。由文章第三段“they’re encouraged to focus on “more useful” subjects and use
English, which are believed to assist them in achieving success in their work.”
第四段“In 2016, there were 18,610 Hawaiian speakers on the
islands. One hundred thousand is the approximate number of speakers needed to
27. B。由文章最后一段 “Fortunately, …take the responsibility to continue the
work …expanding access to ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i…making the language a practical skill in
adulthood…share their hopes for the better”可知,作者肯定目前人们保护夏威夷语
Passage C
28. C。根据第二段最后一句话“They break down very slowly over time and can last
thousands of years in the environment, a property that has led to them being known as
{#{QQABAQAEgggoAIJAARgCQQFwCkIQkBCCCCoOxBAAoAIBSANABAA=}#}
29. C。根据第三段最后两句话“The PFAS concentrations (浓缩物) were low in
them and, bear in mind that most people tend to only use straws occasionally, bringing
a limited risk to human health. However, PFAS can remain in the body for many years
and concentrations can build up over time.(它们中的 PFAS浓度很低,请记住,大
30. A。根据划线单词后面的句子“Potential sources of contamination include the
soil the plant-based materials were grown in and the water used in the production
process.
故选 A。
31. D。根据第一段最后三句话“The straws are made from five materials — paper,
bamboo, glass, stainless steel and plastic. PFAS were found in the majority of the
straws tested and were most common in those made from paper and bamboo. They
were not only found in steel straws tested.(吸管由五种材料制成——纸张、竹子、
Passage D
32. A. 根据第一段“The U. S. is in the midst of a “loneliness epidemic”. For a lot of
people, the feeling is even more noticeable during the holidays. In addition to the
emotional impact of chronic loneliness, it has some dramatic health consequences:
increased risk of heart disease and stroke, infections, cancer, even death.
带来一些严重的健康后果:增加患心脏病和中风、感染、癌症甚至死亡的风险;
故选 A。
33. C. 根据第三段中的 “Elisa Baek, a social neuroscientist at the University of
Southern California, co-authored a study that looked at whether lonely people
{#{QQABAQAEgggoAIJAARgCQQFwCkIQkBCCCCoOxBAAoAIBSANABAA=}#}
perceive the world differently than non-lonely people, specifically among college
Baek found that while non-lonely people were all similar in their neural
responses, lonely people had responses that were really different — not just from the
non-lonely group, but also from each other.
34. B. 根据第四段中的 “The videos ranged from dramatic and comedic clips to
instructional demonstrations in order to reproduce experiences participants might
have in daily life.(这些视频内容从戏剧和喜剧片段到教学演示,旨在重现参与者
35. D. 根据最后一段中的““Trying to connect more deeply with one or two or three
other people may be more important than to try to get to know everybody and being
on good terms with everybody. It doesn’t have to be someone who is like-minded. It’s
more like: How can we get on the same page with people who we might not start off
on the same page with, but that might form deeper connections afterwards ” she adds.
36.G 根据文章第一段“However, do they really work ”可以看出 G项“幸运的是,你
{#{QQABAQAEgggoAIJAARgCQQFwCkIQkBCCCCoOxBAAoAIBSANABAA=}#}
38.F根据文章第三段提到的“If not, our brain center responds by telling our body to
avoid the situation causing us anxiety.” If the task is easy to handle,
we can do it as soon as possible.
39.D 文章第四段“That's because we live in a busy world where tasks will roll your
way.
41-45 BACDC 46-50 CDCBA 51-55 BABDD
他的身体看起来很 tense(紧张)。
{#{QQABAQAEgggoAIJAARgCQQFwCkIQkBCCCCoOxBAAoAIBSANABAA=}#}

and builds a stronger bond with our friends. So,targeted to refine English fluency, these

Week by week, Ben realized that reading seemed easier with Max’s company.
The presence of the gray cat made him feel more relaxed and comfortable. He noticed
that Max’s purring had a calming effect on him, allowing him to focus better on the
words in front of him. Ben was amazed by how much he enjoyed reading aloud to
Max. Still, he was surprised when Ms. Delgado gave him the Most Improved Reader
award. Ben felt a sense of pride and accomplishment as he held the certificate in his
hands. He couldn’t wait to show it to Max.
But on Saturday, Ben couldn’t find Max at the shelter. He looked around the
room, hoping to catch a glimpse of his feline friend. However, Max was nowhere to
be found. Ben’s heart sank as he realized that someone might have adopted Max. Just
then, Mrs. Patel walked into the visitors’ room, carrying Max. “I’m adopting him,”
Mrs. Patel said. “You can come over every day to read to him.” Hearing what Mrs.
Patel said, Ben jumped with excitement and threw his arms around Mrs. Patel. Of
course, he didn’t forget to hug Max tightly who gave a contented purr.

Text 10
Good evening, gentlemen and boys! Thank you for being here this evening.
We’re here to congratulate the top achievers of this year. The boys here have
worked hard in order to be a part of this ceremony. (17)(18) Recognition of
achievement can make us push ourselves and reach our full potential. The
prizewinners are a true representation of everything that we value here at
Hampton School. I have every confidence that you young men will be precisely
the kind of young people who will make a positive difference to the country
and the world. (18)
Your success will be built on being true to yourself. You should recognize your
problems and doubts as well as your positive qualities. I remember listening to
an interview with Andy Murray, one of the top tennis players in the world.
(19) After he was defeated in the first round of a tournament by a much lower
{#{QQABAQAEgggoAIJAARgCQQFwCkIQkBCCCCoOxBAAoAIBSANABAA=}#}
ranked player, the media went crazy. However, Murray was straightforward and
wise. “Nobody died here,” he said, “I only lost a tennis match, nothing more.”
