In my opinion, organic farming is preferable to chemical farming because it can grow good food while avoiding damage to the environment or to people’s health.
On the one hand, organic farming has the advantages of keeping soil rich and free of disease through natural means. For instance, many organic farmers use natural waste as fertilizer and change the kind of crop grown every year. In addition, they also plant diverse crops that use different depths of soil.
On the other hand, the long-term use of chemicals can harm the land and people’s health because pesticides kill helpful bacteria and insects. Furthermore, these crops usually grow too fast to be rich in nutrition.
Therefore, it’s essential to find a suitable solution to pursue sustainable agriculture.
