题型特点
高考阅读七选五题型所给的材料以说明文为主。该题型的命题形式是给考生一篇300词左右的短文，命题人有目的地在文章中去除5处信息，并提供7个备选选项，要求考生从7个选项中选出5个合适的选项填回原文空缺处。根据设空处在文中的位置可分为三类题型：
（1）段首题：所挖句子为主旨句或过渡句；
（2）段尾题：所挖句子为总结句、过渡句或细节句；
（3）段中题：所挖句子为细节句或过渡句，一般考查上下文的逻辑关系，以并列、递进、转折、让步、例证等关系居多。

常用代词的指代意义：
①it=单数/不可数名词或整个句子
②they/them=复数名词
③ones=泛指的复数名词
④one=泛指的单数可数名词
⑤that=特指的单数/不可数名词
⑥this=单数名词或句子
⑦these/those=特指的复数名词
设空处在段中的句子，多为过渡性的句子，句间逻辑关系紧密，有递进、转折、解释或例证等关系，并在段落中起承上启下的作用。
主要逻辑关系有:
1.例证关系
设空处的句子是为了证明前一句内容而举的例子或做的释义。常见的例证关系标志词：
in other words、that is to say、 for exmple、for instance、actually、 in fact、as a matter of fact等。
2. 转折关系
若设空处前后两句之间是逻辑上的逆转，则设空处很有可能表示转折。表示转折关系的标志词语有but、however、 yet、while、 though、 altough，or、otherwise、
on the contrary（与之相反）、instead、 nevertheless( 然而)、still、 in contrast（相反）、in comparison（相比之下）、by comparison（通过对比）等。
3. 因果关系
表示因果关系的标志词语有
so、 therefore 、thus、 consequently、as a result(of)、so/such... that、 so (that)等。
4.递进关系
若设空处前后两句之间是逻辑上的递进关系，则设空处很有可能是个表示递进的句子。表示递进关系的标志词语有
too、 also、 besides 、further 、futhermore 、moreover、likewise、 similarly 、what's more、what's worse、in adition、as well、to make matters worse、not.... but、not only .. but ( also)等。
5.并列关系
表示并列关系的标志词语有
and、first(ly) .. second(ly)、first .. then/ next ... finally/last、to begin with、some ... others、for one thing .... for another thing等。
