过去进行时的被动语态表示过去某个时刻或时段正在进行或者发生的被动性的动作。
They were planting trees at this time yesterday. (主动语态)
Trees were being planted by them at this time yesterday. (被动语态)
He was majoring in computer during his college. (主动语态)
Computer was being majored in by him during his college. (被动语态)
探究点2 过去进行时的被动语态的基本结构
1.过去进行时的被动语态的肯定式: was/were+being+done。
Another bridge was being built over the Yangtze River then. 那时长江上正在建造另一座大桥。
2.过去进行时的被动语态的否定式: was/were+not+being+done。
The house was not being painted when he came in.当他进来的时候,房子没有在被粉刷。
3.过去进行时的被动语态的一般疑问句须将was/were提到主语的前面。(回答用yes或no)
