1.It is/was+adj.+(for/of sb) +to do sth
在“It is/was+adj.+(for/of sb) +to do sth”结构中,for前面的形容词通常是difficult、necessary、important、quick、easy等,这些形容词多与事物的特征有关,而of前面的形容词常常是wise、kind、stupid、silly、bright、nice、good等,这些形容词常常与人的性格特点有关。
It is kind of him to give me a hand.他人真好,帮助了我。
It is not easy to learn English well.=To learn English well is not easy.掌握英语不容易。
2.It+ v.+宾语+ to do sth
It takes time and efforts to master English.掌握英语需要时间和努力。
3.It is/was +n.+ to do sth
It is our duty to try our best to deal with these problems.尽我们最大努力去处理这些问题是我们的责任。
4.It is/was +介词短语+ to do sth
It is beyond my power to answer this question.我回答不出这个问题。
探究点2 it作形式主语,动词-ing形式作真正的主语
当use、 good、 waste、worth、bore、fun、shame、encouragement、misery等名词作表语时,通常用it作形式主语,把作为真正主语的动词-ing形式后置。
It is no good refusing to do it.拒绝做这个是没有好处的。
It is a waste of time trying to reason with him.跟他讲道理就是浪费时间。
It is a bore doing the same kind of work every day.每天做同样的工作真无聊。
It is fun having guests for the weekend.周末有客人很有趣。
It is such an encouragement being able to pass all the exams.能通过所有的考试真是一种鼓励。

1.It is/was+adj.(+for/of sb)+主语从句
It is uncertain whether/if she can come to the party.她是否能来参加聚会还不确定。
It was not clear what she meant.她什么意思不是很清楚。
2.It is/was +n.+主语从句
It is a pity that he can't go with us.他不能和我们一起去,这真是个遗憾的事。
It is our hope that our city will be better.我们的希望是我们的城市会变得更好。
It is a problem whether we can find the kid there.我们能否在那里找到这个孩子还是一个问题。
3.It is/was+动词-ed形式+主语从句
It is not decided who will give the speech.还没决定谁来发言。

注意:在“It is+suggested/advised/ordered/requested/required/insisted/demanded...+that从句”中,从句谓语常用“should+动词原形”,should可省略。
