课题 Unit 2 Hobbies can make you grow as person.
教材分析 本模块谈论的是爱好这一话题,贴近学生生活,应该会受到学生的喜爱。爱好的培养对于青少年的健康成长有着重要的意义,有助于建立学生的自信,有助于学生认识自己,接纳自己,进而培养学生健康的心理和健全的人格。在这种话题下,学省之间很容易交流,也便于教师设计真实情境和开展真实任务,学生也会在爱好的趋势下,寻找兴趣知音,结交朋友,相互帮助。

Step 1 Lead in (1)Revision Have two students make a report about their passages about their hobbies. Then ask other students two questions: What’s their hobbies What do you think of their hobbies (2)Talk about the hobbies. Show students some kinds of hobbies and have them talk about them. 设计意图离句, 为学生扫清阅读障碍。 复习与导入,引起学生兴趣。
Step 2 1.Show students the picture of Activity3 and other pictures. Lead the students to describe them and present new words in sentences and teach them as well. 2.Have students guess: Look at the picture and guess :What is the boy doing What’s his hobby 引导学生谈论图片, 训练学生描述图片的能力。在描述的同时学习新单词和句型。
Step 3 Skimming Ask students to skim the passage and find out the main idea of it. Scanning(group work) ( 1 ) Ask students to scan the passage ,check the true sentences and correct the false ones as well. ( 2 ) Call back the answers. 要求学生快速阅读文章选出课文的主题大意, 培养学生的快速阅读技巧和获取文章整体信息的能力。 在学生抓住课文主题大意后, 要求学生再次对课文进行跳读。使学生可以进一步理解文章.
Step 4 3.Careful reading. (1)Paragraph 1: ① Choose the best answers. ② Let the students read Paragraph 1 in groups of four and find out difficulties. ③ Solve the difficulties. T: What’s David’s hobby What did he do after he came back from the camp Let’s continue learning Paragraph2& 3. (2)Paragraph 2 &3: ① Complete the notes in the table after reading Paragraph2 & 3 . Step 6 Homework Write a short passage: My Classmate’s Hobby by using“such as,as well as and as a result”in Activity7. 课后作业有助于学生巩固已学的知识.
