1) a little bit 常用来修饰形容词或副词及其比较级,相当于 a little, a bit 或 kind of 。

instead 副词 位于句首或句末, 作状语修饰整个句子。

weak形容词,在此句中意为“虚弱的;无力的”。其名词形式是weakness,意为“虚弱;弱点;懦弱”。其反义词是strong。
【拓展】
(1) weak作形容词时,还可意为“不擅长;(能力)弱的”。 be weak in意为“在某方面弱;不擅长”,反义词组是be good at/do well in。
(2) the weak意为“弱者”,相当于the weak people。在英语中“the+形容词”结构,可以表示“某一类人”。
