Analysis On the Teaching Material Teaching Content The content of my lesson is a lecture transcript given by a critic, through the learning of which, Ss will know more about some aspects of film making behind the scene. At the same time, Ss will be aware of the writing techniques used in the transcript and learn to valuate their own favorite films from the different aspect they have learnt.
Teaching Objectives By the end of the class, the students will be able to: Understand the structure, main idea and the details of the lecture transcript Integrate the skills and form your own lecture transcript Evaluate different aspects of a filmAppreciate the language used to describe the grand party;
Important Points Find the three main elements of film-making Find out the writing technique of giving examples to support the main point Learn to use the clues to analyze the structure of a text
Difficult Points Find the different literary technique used in the lecture Pronounce and name the terms used in film-making industry
Analysis on the Learners With a certain degree of reading ability ,Ss of senior one will be able to get the structure of the story and easily attracted by the special effects in the film. They may also meet with several new words and expressions when reading, which may cause confusion.

Step 1 Lead in (3 min) 1.Greeting. 2.Show them some film post cards which will be given to them after class . 3.Talk about one of the best film you have ever seen. What impressed you the most 4.Introduce the KWLS structure for this class Guide them to read. Arouse students' interest and lead in the topic for this lesson.

Apply the techniques they have learned to their writing and advance the sentences in their writing.
Homework 1.List the use of CGI in some of your favourite films. 2.Find another article for your classmate, and let them fill the missing part such as impressive topic, supportive examples, and clear topic in the beginning. Check whether the Ss achieve the teaching aims.
