本节课主要通过听力和口头练习，在复习现在进行时的基础上学习过去进行时，培养学生听、说能力。同学们课堂上都能集中注意力认真听讲，对过去进行时也有了自己的理解。不足之处在于，听力部分学生听起来比较吃力，在听前应做好充分的铺垫和预测，以减轻听力难度，在听后，也应带领学生针对听力材料中的重难词汇和句型进行讲解，效果会更好。最重要的是，平时要加强对学生的听力训练，以提高听的能力。
