The passengers on train K396 were quickly moved to Luopoling Community. Ma Ruixin, the head of Luopoling Station, drove the workers to over 30 kilometers to buy instant noodles for the passengers.① Local villagers volunteered to form a group.They guided the way forward on foot and gave special care to the passengers.The train workers walked to the carriages one by one to explain the situation to the passengers. Finally, they all successfully got out of this critical situation. The passengers orderly walked out of the station.All of them were happy that they could get home safely.②
“From Saturday noon to Monday noon, we dealt with 23 tasks received via hotline.During the 48 hours, I hardly had time to rest,” said Shao Songsong, a worker of the drainage company.According to the Beijing Municipal Flood Control Department, throughout the city, more than 52, 384 people who were influenced by flooding were moved to safe places on Monday.The flood stopped 107 mountain roads from working.Buses, cars, and even bikes couldn't go through there.
In this accident, the workers volunteered to help passengers and some passengers also volunteered to join the group. We can learn that when we experience natural disasters or other things, we first need to stay calm, follow the guidance, and work together to overcome (克服) difficulties!④
